New Zealand has the highest youth suicide rate in the developed world. And teens desperately want to help their friends, but they’re often so scared of doing or saying the wrong thing that they’ll just avoid that friend altogether.
But clinical studies show that just being there, not even necessarily doing anything together, is the best way to start helping.
So we told them.
